97) Water Cock

Yesterday Kevin and I went out and did some shopping during the afternoon. I bought a new camera bag and a new lens. I think I will be done buying stuff for my camera for a while…it is getting pretty expensive.

After that I went to Hongdae to catch a Jazz show and try out my new lens. The big advantage of this one is that it can produce a very soft and blurry background. I went to a club called Water Cock (weird name huh? I had just explained the slang meaning of “cock” to one of my friends the other day, and then when I told her I was going to Water Cock she had a good laugh). But the club is nice- the music is good and there are never too many people there. So it is a good place to go by yourself because you won’t feel like a looser.

*This is a special section for Mrs. Bishop (because Chip has failed to write a new blog in about a half a year). Chip is still alive and well and living at my house. I have been inviting him along to these jazz clubs with me, and he accepts my offer, and then fails to show up…. Had he shown up, you would be able to see some pictures of him and probably hear some entertaining stories.

The pics of the children are from some of my new classes, and the flowers I saw on the way to school today.

Shame-shame, Chip!

Come on - drag yourself off of the sofa over to your laptop and start typing. You've got to have something to say to the world, no?

Nice job with your blog, Kyle ~ I am certainly happy Chip has not been a negative influence. (just kidding, Chip!)

So back in Mussoorie as I'm about to leave for Delhi and then America, the son of our watchman stops by asks me, "Do you have cock?" There is the obvious answer, however, I found out that he was asking for a shuttle cock with which to play badminten. My reply was, "no, we do not."
