166) Cherry Blossoms

Sorry for anyone looking to stay updated with me recently, but I still have no internet in my apartment, and I don’t like writing these blogs on other computers, and just haven’t had much time to spend in coffee shops.

So, for the most part things are going very well. Work is going good, and I am loving my new apartment and neighborhood. There is a big market behind my house that has almost everything I need, including my gym that has a sauna in it as well. It is nice to be able to relax in the sauna after a workout.

Things are still pretty hectic for me around here, there are so many things to be done, and people I still haven’t seen since I have been here. Pretty much every free moment has been spent doing something or meeting someone, which is nice, but also very busy. I have been actually waking up to my alarm lately, something that I rarely do. In the past if I set my alarm I usually wake up right before it goes off.

I also haven’t been too active with photography, but I hope that will change soon. Seoul is becoming really beautiful with budding trees and cherry blossoms. The Cherry Blossom festival started yesterday, and it was really nice to get back there and check that out. The down side was massive amounts of people, and combining that with the average Korean persons in-ability to walk normally can get aggravating. But I was in a good mood so it didn’t bother me much. I hope to get back there a couple more times while everything is still so beautiful!

Hi Kyle ~
Good to see you blogging again ~ I always look forward to your posts and photographs!

What is it about how Korean's walk that aggravates you? Let me guess - they go too slow and stop and look at things, right? Hmmm ...

Glad to hear you are liking your new apt and neighborhood ~ I'm axiously awaiting pics!

Be safe ~ love you,
mom

think about a person walking and having no regard for another human being on the planet. we've all been behind them on the road while driving. multiply that by 100.
